We are a family run school and proud to be one of the oldest local dance schools in the area, having been established 36 years ago by my mother Julie.
We specialise in Ballet (RAD syllabus), Tap (ISTD syllabus), Modern/Jazz and Musical Theatre.
We accept children from 2 ½ - 3 years upwards.
Established at St Mary's school Rickmansworth since 1990, many of the current staff attended as children which gives a lovely "family feel". All staff have attended training sessions and are CRB police checked as per Ofsted requirements.
Are you interested in going to Oxford or Cambridge, but are daunted by the admission process. We are here to help you realise your dream.
Focusing solely on these two world-class institutions, we specialise in helping students gain an edge over the competition, seriously improving their chances of success.
All our work is based on one simple principle - the analysis of success. We interview, in depth, hundreds of undergraduates to discover what lay behind their success, this together with the expertise of ex-admissions tutors, experienced professionals and our own consultants gives us a winning formula. We offer help at every stage of the admissions process. Contact the above number or log on to our web site for more information.
The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organisations and seeks to accomplish its mission through promoting dance, educating and training students and teachers and providing examinations to reward achievement in 79 countries all over the world.
The RAD Training department’s programme of activities runs across the UK, as well as internationally, engaging with local communities, RAD teaching members and dance schools– to widen participation and access to dance. If your child is a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, and whether he/she wants to dance for fun or is working towards a career in dance, we have something for everyone. All RAD Registered Teachers are CRB checked.
The RAD offers an internationally recognised portfolio of Examinations which is designed for students of all ages and levels of ability. Students as young as two and a half may start dancing with the Pre-School Dance Curriculum, with the opportunity to move through Graded levels or Vocational Graded levels.
In our commitment to higher education, we created the Faculty of Education in 1999, dedicated to meeting the needs of our current and future dance teachers by providing education programmes and qualifications.
Royal Academy of Dance Enterprises Ltd is authorised by Royal Academy of Dance to sell products and goods using the Academy's logo and brand name.
Perform is one of the UK’s best-known children’s drama schools. With weekly workshops at over 160 venues across London and the South-East, the classes use a unique mix of drama, dance and singing to help bring out children’s true potential.
And the fun continues outside term-time.
With Perform’s energetic half, three and five day holiday Experiences or 4-8s and 8-12s, you can banish the familiar school holiday cry of 'I'm bored' and give them a treat to remember.
Your child will work alongside an experienced young team of theatre professionals, every day for two hours, combining live music, dance and improvisation into a magical mini-performance on the final day.
Past performances have included Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, The Wizard Of Oz, Alice In Wonderland and The Lion, the Witch & The Wardrobe.
