Chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in child and adolescent mental health.
As a parent you may be worried about and would like help with your child's:
- Responses to a traumatic life event (including bereavement, divorce and separation, or life threatening event)
- Changes to their behaviour, either at home or school (for example feeling withdrawn, isolated and having lost interest in activities)
- Excessive anxiety in particular situations or many situations
- Significant weight loss; struggling to eat foods once enjoyed, or fussy with food
I am a Clinical Psychologist working with young people and their families experiencing the range of emotional difficulties, described above, in North Oxford. I have previously worked extensively in a Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for Oxford Health Foundation Trust and now work independently offering an early intervention service. In addition, I am also a Clinical Psychologist for the Oxford ADHD Centre offering assessment and treatment for Autism Spectrum Conditions and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (Registration number: PYL22984) and British Psychological Society (BPS Membership Number: 1818697).
I would be very happy to be contacted for an initial consultation to determine if psychological assessment and treatment would be helpful for your child’s difficulties.
