Longstanding family-run business in the NW3 area. Fun and active performing arts and drama camp to engage and stimulate children age 3.5 – 15 years.

Children participate in small, age-related groups. Acting, singing and dancing taught by industry professionals with extensive experience in teaching children and encouraging them to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment. Children can either attend with their friends or make new friends while they are with us!

We are a leading performing arts academy located in Marylebone, London

We offer children aged 3-18 years the highest standard of teaching in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama. Classes are taught by current West End performers and industry professionals, who are passionate about nurturing our pupils love for performing arts; creating an environment where children can gain new skills, improved confidence and lifelong friendships. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential and we take pride in the support and inspiration we provide along the way.

Taught by a qualified and experienced team of teachers, our pupils follow the IDTA syllabus in Ballet, Tap and Jazz with opportunities to take LAMDA examinations in Drama and Singing. We also offer classes in Street Jazz, Lyrical Jazz and Musical Theatre giving pupils the chance to experience a wide range of styles and skills to further their learning.

Our regular classes run after school Monday to Friday from 3:30pm onwards and all day on a Saturday.

We have a Musical Theatre Academy and a Mini Musical Theatre Academy which run on Saturday mornings.

We also offer private lessons subject to availability.

Holiday Camps & Workshops
During the holidays throughout the year, the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance runs holiday camps for children aged 3 to 16. Every camp has a different theme and will cover all aspects of performing arts including Musical Theatre, Jazz, Drama and Singing. Children are grouped based on age. At the end of an exciting week, parents are invited to come along and watch their children perform.

The camps run from 9:30am to 4:00pm and children can attend for the full week or on a daily basis. We also offer morning only sessions from 9:30am to 1:00pm.

Jigsaw was established in 1995 with a desire to pass on the joy of performing arts. The belief in the benefits of performing arts activities for children was the driving force in the creation of Jigsaw and the reason why Jigsaw has continued to grow and become a well-established high quality provider of children’s classes. Jigsaw has a team of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who are committed to delivering fun and exciting dance, drama and singing classes.

Every student can benefit, in some way, from the performing arts. While some join us to build a firm foundation for a professional performance career, others do so to unlock their hidden talents, overcome their shyness or increase their confidence and social skills. However, what all students enjoy is having fun through drama, singing and dance classes, while making lots of new friends. Children ages 3-6 years attend a 90-minute session divided into three sections of dance, drama and singing. Students aged 7-18 years attend a three-hour session comprising of an hour of drama, an hour of singing and an hour of dance, each with a specialist tutor. To establish an environment that builds confidence, regardless of individual ability, students are divided into appropriate age bands. All students will be challenged to their full potential.

Established for over 40 years the school trains students from 3 -18yrs to acquire Poise, Confidence and a love of Dance in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Classical Greek and National. All classes are taught by fully qualified teachers.

Royal Academy of Dance Examinations are taken in Ballet from Primary to Advanced Level and ISTD exams in all other Genre to the same standard. Many pupils have gone on to perform and to train as teachers.

Weekly Jazz and Drama classes are held and the school participates in Festivals and produces a Bi Annual show.

YAFTA is a renowned and reputable screen acting academy based in the UK and provides Spotlight Accredited diploma training programmes.

With online and physical evening classes and diploma courses available, alongside industry pro workshops throughout the year, there is an opportunity suitable for those looking to pursue their dream of screen acting.

At YAFTA we aim to develop confidence and inspire creativity and passion to improve the performance of our students as actors.

The structure of our teenager TV and Film acting classes is similar to that of the adult classes, however, tailored to be age and ability specific for teenagers.

It is our aim to prepare all students for work as professional film and TV actors. We educate our students to equip them with the necessary skills, tools, knowledge and psychological preparation, which are essential to succeed in the film and TV industry.

The film & TV industry is seen by many as an impenetrable world. For many, securing work as a screen actor may feel unrealistic. However, through specialist training, professional screen acting academy YAFTA, has successfully trained many of its actors to become professional screen actors who now secure work in a whole variety of productions for major broadcasters including; Netflix, Sky, BBC, ITV, Amazon Prime, Channel 5, Channel 4 and more.

The YAFTA Academy is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and home to the 12 month, part-time, Youth Acting for Screen Diploma. The diplomas are taught by tutors who trained at the world’s leading drama schools including RADA, LAMDA, Central School of Speech and Drama, ALRA and LIPA, as well as industry professionals currently working in the acting industry. The course is aimed at those with limited screen acting experience, who will be taught the skills, techniques and industry knowledge required to become a professional screen actor. Diploma applications are open throughout the year, with successful applications invited to attend an audition at the academy. 0% payment plans are available for the Diploma courses.
