Access Education was founded in 1982. We are a small friendly team, all with Masters degrees. The vast majority of clients are within the educational system and can benefit from exam concessions. Our DSA reports are a great help to students in H.E.

There are a number of reasons for failing to reach potential, of which specific developmental dyslexia is one. Although we specialise in the assessment and remediation of dyslexia, our educational assessments are aimed at anyone who is underachieving.

The sooner a child is diagnosed, the better the outcome. Good written language depends on mind and body working in unison. Remediation is aimed at correcting any imbalance.

Do not delay, call us now on (01590) 643440 or look at our website.

Fairley House School

Building brighter futures for children with dyslexia and dyspraxia

Fairley House was founded in 1982 for children aged 5-13 with specific learning difficulties. We specialise in offering therapy as an integral part of a child’s education not simply as a ‘bolted on extra’. Our whole school approach means that children are taught in small classes and small groups by specialist teachers, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.

We emphasise the development of the whole child, helping him or her to gain confidence and self-esteem through an encouraging and nurturing ethos. The children have plenty of opportunities to develop sound academic and social skills and to become independent.

Belgrave School

  (0117) 974 3133
Belgrave School is a small, happy school for children (5 - 13 years) with a specific difficulty. Specific difficulties may range from dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Aspergers and mild autism. Each child has an Individual Education Plan and their learning programme is tailored to meet their specific needs. Attention is also directed towards perceptual disorders of visual, auditory, motor and memory function. Small classes and high ratio of specialist teachers & assistants to children means each child receives the attention they need, as soon as they need it.

Our philosophy is that learning should be fun. We incorporate the Nessy Learning Programme, specifically designed software where children play a variety of learning games to help reinforce their phonological awareness, vocabulary and sentence construction.

Belgrave School aims to deliver a comprehensive learning programme, which produces happy, confident children, who are proud of their achievements.
