Bovey Castle

Families are well-catered for with a variety of inter-connecting rooms and suites which provide comfortable accommodation including two special children’s suites with hand-painted furnishings. The rooms have a baby-listening service or child-minding can be arranged.

The Children’s Play-room has numerous indoor activities and games. Outdoors, the Estate offers tennis, horse riding, mountain bikes, golf together with tuition, falconry displays and moorland falconry walks and 25 miles of fishing and the long-barn allows children to see apple-pressing, bee-keeping, hens and other traditional crafts. Nearby, the Small Animal Farm and Miniature Pony Centre keep children amused for hours. There are spectacular indoor and outdoor pools. Children’s High Tea is served everyday at 6pm.

The Castle organises special programmes for families throughout the school holidays including Bovey Rangers Sports and Activities Holiday Club. Trained experts arrange a fabulous range of activities and sports for junior guests from Monday to Friday.

Swinton Park

Children welcome with childrens menus served in the private dining room.Private cinema and games room. Spacious family bedrooms, with sofa beds in the suites. Our routes are flexible and there is something for everyone regardless of age and fitness. We have a range of good quality bikes in many sizes (or bring your own). All cycling accessories are provided. We will meet you when you arrive, and each day we transfer your luggage to your next destination. If you break down or need help we are only a phone call away. Some holidays are suitable for disabled people.
