Meet the blue knight from the North on his trusty charger with his squire, as they prepare for the Grand Medieval Bolsover Joust. Watch as we arm the knight for the tournament, while he practises his manoeuvres on horseback and follow your own quest to become a champion knight. Come back each week to meet the tournament contestants and choose your champion!

Marvel at our Medieval Knights as they take part in the Tournament of Foote. Watch these four brave armoured Knights and their squires, representing the North, South, East and West, as they compete in archery and the fantastic Crest Melee. In between the competitions enjoy a display of poleaxe combat, and browse the authentic Living History Encampment. Listen to period music and laugh out loud to our own medieval Jester!

The Fifth Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival (27th April- 2nd May 2011) will involve over 60 male choirs from Cornwall, the UK and across the world in the biggest such festival of its kind in Europe.

MUSEUMS AT NIGHT: WHITBY ABBEY
