Just 6 miles south of Aviemore in the beautiful Spey Valley you will find scenic Loch Insh. From Spring through to Autumn you can join in Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Archery, Family River Trips, Salmon Fishing, Rowing and Dry Slope Skiing. Hire of equipment is available every day from April to the end of October and instruction can be provided hourly or by the week.

Fabulous self catering log chalets overlook Loch Insh and Bed and Breakfast with en-suite facilities are provided at Insh Hall Lodge, also on the 14-acre wooded site. The Boathouse Restaurant stands on the beach overlooking the activities on the water with fabulous open balcony, bar and gift shop. There are three children’s adventure areas and 3 km lochside/forest interpretation trail for those who like to stay on dry land! From December to April downhill and snowboarding courses are offered with skiing on Cairngorm Ski Slopes, just 16 miles.

Kids Activity Weeks

Lagoon Watersports Kids Activity Weeks are a now in their 11th year of running and hugely popular with kids and parents alike. Packed with sporting activities that combine fun, exciting and skillful antics both on the water and land, they are guaranteed to keep the kids out of mischief during the school holidays!

Theses courses are a great way to introduce your child to watersports and give them confidence on the water. They will start from the basics and work towards improving their newly found skills to become competent sailors/windsurfers.

Activity residential and day camps for 6 – 18 year olds

Whether you want to come for a day or a week, KG Adventure guarantees fun, laughter and friendship at our awesome camps! We have been running camps for over 25 years, so we know how to provide an action packed holiday of fun and we’d love for you to join us!

We have a huge range of activities and courses on offer so no matter if you’re looking for water sports (kayaking, raft building and wakeboarding…), adventure (climbing, quad biking, archery or wild survival…), team sports (such as football, volleyball and tennis) or being super creative (bracelet making, polish up your circus skills, learn new dance skills and choreography) there will always be loads for you to do! The Pirate Castle is a community boat club on the Regents Canal in Camden Town. We offer canoeing, kayaking and trips out. We run canal cruises. Trips are skippered and can be for the day or for weekend or week-long canal holidays.

Ideally situated, in the heart of beautiful countryside, Croft Farm provides a variety of water sports for all the family. Camping and caravanning is on site with good amenities including a cafe and bar.

We offer tuition in windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and raft building. Instruction is provided by qualified staff in a friendly environment but always with safety in mind. We have a strong junior programme of courses for children or they can join in with their parents and learn as a family group.

During the summer holidays we organise ACTION DAYS & WEEKS which give adults and children a chance to have a go a different water sports.

Situated in Highland Perthshire, Dunolly Adventure Outdoors is an outdoor pursuits centre that specialises in activities for children, families, and school groups.

With a wide variety of activities suitable for most ages and abilities Dunolly will have something for both the most timid child (or adult) and the most adventurous one.

Activity Camps

At various times throughout the year Dunolly run action packed activity camps for children to come away by themselves. The camps during the summer are designed for 8 – 12 year olds whilst at Easter they welcome slightly older children aged 12 – 14 years. Summercamps start on a Sunday evening and keep your child entertained right through until the following Friday morning. Eastercamp starts on the Tuesday morning after Easter Monday and finishes on the following Friday afternoon.

The children will participate in a selection of activities everyday, including the evenings, ranging from thrilling white water rafting and gorge ascents to nature walks, archery, and climbing.
