Our tutors are professional musicians and we tailor-make tuition programmes for each pupil. These are individual strategies taking into account each individual's strengths, weaknesses, ambitions, talents and tastes. Progress is continually monitored and the best way forward reassessed after every lesson.

Getting pleasure out of playing an instrument is as important as mastering it, all our classes are fun and pupils can take part in regular Rivermusik concerts and competitions as well as taking part in external music festivals and competitions. Pupils who would like to can prepare for take exams of course, students who do not want to take examinations can play "just for fun".

Music tuition is also available for students preparing for GCSE and A level exams. Whether they need a theory 'booster' or the advantage of additional tuition, suitable lessons can be provided.
