Michelham Priory
The beautiful buildings at Michelham Priory have evolved over 800 years. The collections of furniture and artefacts on display trace the property’s religious origins through its life as a working farm and its development as a country house in the 1920s. Seven acres of superb gardens are entered through a 14th-century gatehouse. Explore the fully restored medieval watermill, Physic Herb Garden, a working forge, rope museum and the Elizabethan Great Barn, now used for weddings and functions.
