Our Arena is filled with bunkers, hideaways, cages and forts that add to the challenge. The game is great to play for adults and girls and boys aged 7 years and over. The game is exciting to play, in the great outdoors and makes sure your kids have plenty of exercise. We also organise birthday parties, providing a well-structured, fully supervised mission based group sessions for your child and their friends. And to make things easier for you we offer a complete package, including optional party bags and catering, free birthday invitations, and an exclusive login area for you as a customer where you can keep track of your party.

We are based at New Pleasureland in Southport (on the location of the old Southport Zoo), but you can come to Battlefield Live independently. Or make a day of it and do both! We're open on the weekends, school holidays and bank holidays from 12pm onwards for Turn Up and Play sessions. We offer weekend morning group sessions for birthday parties, children's groups or anyone just wanting to play for a few hours. Just give us a call to book onto these sessions. BeWILDerwood is home to enchanting creatures such as Boggles, Twiggles, the Thornyclod Spider and vegetarian Crocklebogs! The setting for the book, “A Boggle at BeWILDerwood”, by local children’s author Tom Blofeld, gives children the chance to follow in the footsteps of the lead character Swampy, a 2ft Marsh Boggle with a taste for adventure. High in the trees there are miniature Twiggle villages and low in the marshes Boggle village life will captivate your imagination.

Attractions include the Broken Bridge where you have to walk over invisible glass 7 metres above the ground, the Wobbly Wires, a daring zip wire slide and the Slippery Slopes, not for the faint hearted.

No matter how young (or old!) you are, if you’re brave enough you can clamber, crawl, climb, slide and swing your way around our mystical world, creating your own adventure. Parents are encouraged to play alongside their children, which makes for a fabulous and brilliantly exciting time for the whole family.

Woodlands Birthday Parties are fantastic value and great fun for all ages. Adjoining the Theme Park is the award winning Woodlands Grove Caravan Park. With beautiful countryside to relax in, luxurious amenities and 5 star camping facilities it’s the perfect place for family holidays or adult short breaks.

There’s miles of surfaced pathways making it the ideal place to enjoy an invigorating walk or cycle ride (cycle hire available) amongst picturesque surroundings. You can hop on an electric pleasure boat, pedalo or rowing boat at Lee Valley Boat Centre and navigate the River Lee, let the kids go wild in miles of open space while sitting back and watching the wildlife go by, or simply relax and unwind with a picnic.

If you’re an adrenalin enthusiast, a trip to the brand new Lee Valley White Water Centre (host to the London 2012 Canoe Slalom events) is a must. Whether you fancy riding the rapids yourself, or simply want to watch the action from the café terrace, with the centre opening before the Games on 22 April 2011, it’s well worth a trip!

During 2011 the Country Park will feature new natural play, frisbee golf, and an array of family explorer trails.
