Discover the fascinating underwater world of the North Sea at Macduff Marine Aquarium! Meet hundreds of different sea creatures, including rays, octopuses, wolf fish and conger eels!

The aquarium’s central exhibit is unique in Britain and holds a living community of seaweeds, fish and invertebrates. See divers hand feeding the fish in this tank! Other exhibits include a ray pool, rock pools, a splash tank, and estuary display, as well as touch pools and interactive displays. There are talks, videos and feeding shows throughout the week.

We are an outdoor laser combat game that is played within a massive arena.

Our Arena is filled with bunkers, hideaways, cages and forts that add to the challenge. The game is great to play for adults and girls and boys aged 7 years and over. The game is exciting to play, in the great outdoors and makes sure your kids have plenty of exercise. We also organise birthday parties, providing a well-structured, fully supervised mission based group sessions for your child and their friends. And to make things easier for you we offer a complete package, including optional party bags and catering, free birthday invitations, and an exclusive login area for you as a customer where you can keep track of your party.

We are based at New Pleasureland in Southport (on the location of the old Southport Zoo), but you can come to Battlefield Live independently. Or make a day of it and do both! We're open on the weekends, school holidays and bank holidays from 12pm onwards for Turn Up and Play sessions. We offer weekend morning group sessions for birthday parties, children's groups or anyone just wanting to play for a few hours. Just give us a call to book onto these sessions. We can also offer after school sessions.

Serious Outdoor Skills are now running activity days for children and youths.

We teach survival bushcraft and wilderness skills and have designed one day events for children and youth groups. These day events are a great way for young people to learn some great new skills, build their confidence and meet new friends.

Serious Outdoor Skills aim to deliver a really enjoyable and interesting day out in the great outdoors. Included in the events there will be sessions in shelter building, fire lighting, nature awareness, damper bread making on an open fire and other exciting and fun activities. Serious Outdoor Skills believe that it is important for young people to get outside and enjoy the wilderness and nature.

You get the chance to tackle an exhilarating range of climbing, jumping and swinging activities, all in complete safety.

Bouldering is a form of rock climbing done on low level walls above crash mats. Come down and try out one of our Taster sessions or book onto an Induction TCA is a purpose built bouldering facility in the heart of the city. If you’re already a climber then just come down and fill out a registration form and you can climb whenever we’re open. If you’ve never tried it before then for ADULTS why not come down and do our Induction session. It only costs £20 and includes free lifetime membership (normally £10), shoe hire and a goodie bag at the end!

For KIDS (aged 8-16), we run Boulder Club. This is a selection of courses, starting with a Taster session and up through Level’s 1-5 right up to Squad who compete at national level. We provide kids with a logbook to record achievements, and certificates as they progress through the levels.
