The hotel has its own outdoor heated swimming pool, where children can have swimming lessons from a fully-trained local swimming instructor. There is a pitch and putt golf course, as well as the island tennis court on the hotel’s doorstep. Hell Bay also has its own games room with Nintendo Wii, table football and a pool table.

The Woolley Bears Den, our on–site, Ofsted registered nursery, staffed by a nannies daily from 9.30-5.30 has a wide variety of games, toys, books and music. The children can be left for up to 2 hrs at any one time. We can provide cots, highchairs, sterlisers, nappy buckets and baby food for those visiting with little ones.

For the older ones who love the outdoors there is space to kick a ball, bounce on a trampoline, play hide and seek, discover a great spot for a den or chill in their own play space the Hen House (home to pool table, table football & air hockey).

Dinner is a wonderful experience at Woolley with pre dinner drinks served in the lounges, followed by relaxed fine dining using the best local produce. Baby sitting & babylistening services will ensure you can enjoy your evenings to the full. Children’s tea is served daily.

The two restaurants are run by Nathan Outlaw and his team. The Nathan Outlaw Seafood & Grill is open all day and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A big hit for casual diners, this restaurant remains popular all year round and offers a simple and competitively priced menu.

Restaurant Nathan Outlaw awarded 2 Michelin Stars in 2011 and has been named as the Best Seafood Restaurant in the UK by The Good Food Guide. This restaurant will be providing one tasting menu for diners. The menu will be entirely composed of Seafood dishes, and display the wonderful provisions of the Cornish coast.

All Family Accommodation is linked to Reception via a dedicated Baby Listening System and contains video televisions. A library of children’s videos is available at Reception.

The Playzone caters for children from newborn to 16 years old. It is packed with toys and games and also incorporates a cinema and studio equipped with Playstations, X Boxes and computers for older children. Qualified nannies entertain your children whilst you relax elsewhere in the grounds. The new playroom is open from 9am until 5.30pm, 7 days a week, allowing you complete flexibility to use the facility when it suits you.

Children’s High Tea is served in The Gumstool Inn from 5.30pm until 6.30pm. There is also an outdoor Play area in the meadow close to the family rooms/suites.
