Half hour lessons every day except Monday. Weekend lessons also available. No age limit. Please book in advance.

Riding lessons from 6yrs+. One-to-one lessons after school. Group lessons at weekends. Please book in advance.

For ages 5 and over. 1 hour lessons at weekends and 1/2 hour lessons in the afternoons during the week.

We offer fully qualified staff teaching for all ages. Wonderful setting with indoor and outdoor facilities. Also including children's weekend club.

BHS qualified teachers for all levels. Hack through beautiful countryside. Floodlit facilities also available. We specialise in disabled riders.

Established since 1965, we offer riding tuition on a one-to-one basis for children aged 4+. Children aged 7+ can also have group lessons if preferred. All classes are overseen by fully qualified instructors and are held from 9.00am-9.30pm every day except Fridays.

We are a member of the Pony Club which is aimed specifically at non-owner riders. Children can work towards achievement badges and tests to C Standard which includes passing the Road Safety test.

Since 1926, OCRS has been providing qualified, friendly instruction for children.

Children start riding from 5 years old with after school lessons at reduced rates.

Beginners start in small groups of 6 in the full size indoor school. They progress at their own pace with thorough but enjoyable instruction. Lessons are graded. During school holidays OCRS organises fun days and day courses. In the summer holidays we hold weekly courses which are very popular.

OCRS are a Pony Club Centre Member. Children riding with us can join the Pony Club and work through the badge and test system.

Activity residential and day camps for 6 – 18 year olds

Whether you want to come for a day or a week, KG Adventure guarantees fun, laughter and friendship at our awesome camps! We have been running camps for over 25 years, so we know how to provide an action packed holiday of fun and we’d love for you to join us!

We have a huge range of activities and courses on offer so no matter if you’re looking for water sports (kayaking, raft building and wakeboarding…), adventure (climbing, quad biking, archery or wild survival…), team sports (such as football, volleyball and tennis) or being super creative (bracelet making, polish up your circus skills, learn new dance skills and choreography) there will always be loads for you to do! What’s more if you stay residentially there are loads of great evening activities on offer too such as talent shows, discos and campfires!

Steadman's Mead Stables provide a high standard of instruction in riding for adults and children from eight years, in group lessons, and at an affordable cost.

We have a structured schedule of lessons that are run every week, keeping riders of like standard in groups of not more than six. On top of that we also offer Private and Semi Private lessons that can be booked on an adhoc basis.

Set in the heart of East London, in the green surroundings of Lee Valley Regional Park, Lee Valley Riding Centre is a British Horse Society (BHS) accredited riding school and caters for beginners and experienced riders in a friendly environment.

Group lessons, private tuition and beginner’s ‘Have-a-Go’ sessions are available, with the benefit of an indoor arena, two floodlit outdoor arenas and jumping facilities. Lessons on the cross-country jumping course are available to experienced riders.

There are plenty of opportunities for children to get involved and learn more about ponies. “Own a Pony” sessions for all ages are a popular school-holiday activity, and regular riders can become Stable Helpers, or even try out for the Lee Valley Pony Club team.
