Children welcome with goody bags on arrival, children’s menus, indoor and outdoor play areas, Bird of Prey Centre, Pony Trekking Centre, kite flying, bikes, croquet and miles of walking tracks in the surrounding gardens and woodland. There are also events for families running throughout the year such as Easter Egg Hunts, Children’s Activity Days in the summer, Halloween Owl Spectaculars and Santa at Swinton.

The children’s cookery courses are run by Gilly Robinson who aims to encourage children to master the basics and enjoy and experiment with food, in a friendly and fun environment.
