Dragoman offer two types of family trips.

‘Private Charters’ are adventurous holiday to some of Africa’s best Game Parks and are for families with children aged between 6 – 18 years. Travelling in a purpose-built truck in an exclusive group of up to 21 family and friends, you’ll also be accompanied by 3 crew members and an African camp master. The trips, which offer un-missable wildlife encounters, are between 14 and 16 days long and travel to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

‘Family Adventures’ are for families with children aged between 6 – 18 years wanting to travel for periods of up to two weeks by every means possible including local bus, dug-out canoe, elephants and boats. You travel with other families and interact with local cultures. There are five Asian adventures to choose from: Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Nepal and Thailand.

You could be riding an elephant in Thailand, enjoying a Hanoi water puppet show, or game viewing from a 4x4 in Tanzania. Our small group size means we can become a part of local life and hangout with hilltribes, drink tea with Berbers or picnic in an Italian fishing village.
