With backing from Dragon Duncan Bannatyne, the part-time performing arts school has gone from strength to strength and has become one of the top five part-time theatre schools in the UK, according to The Stage newspaper. Classes consist of three sessions of dance, drama and singing and the curriculum covers the whole of the performing arts, from classic West End musical theatre to commercial street dance for students age 2 -18.

Children ages 3-4 and 5-6 years attend a 90-minute session divided into three sections of dance, drama and singing. The sessions are designed to develop the children’s confidence, focus and social skills from an early age, giving them a head start in life. It also provides a great introduction to performing arts.
Students aged 7-18 years attend a three-hour session comprising of an hour of drama, an hour of singing and an hour of dance, each with a specialist tutor. Jigsaw Arts provides training in all three disciplines in order to create a well-rounded performer. To establish an environment that builds confidence, regardless of individual ability, students are divided into appropriate age bands. All students will be challenged to their full potential. The three age groups rotate between the three disciplines.
They also offer holiday workshops, birthday parties, a Youth Theatre and run an in house agency.

For young children, CRB checked artists provide things like crafts (puppet making, mask making, lantern making etc), Japanese origami (very popular), African drumming and dance.
For teenagers’, we have lots of terrific party ideas. These include makeup and beauty for teenage girls. Also popular urban arts such as street dance, break dancing and Rapping, graffiti art, Japanese manga art or DJ-ing skills.
We also provide special graffiti art activities including commissions where create a bespoke mural for a child’s bedroom, a garage, shed or play room and so on. We begin by demonstrating to the children, before leading an activity with them.
Our artists / entertainers will travel to, and deliver at your venue (home address or a room booked etc).
