From SoundStart for the under 6s to our unique Roundabout and Fanfare courses through to our choirs and ensembles, children are encouraged to enjoy making music together.

The art classes start children on a journey of discovery in the visual arts, whilst the drama courses offer the opportunity to explore their creativity whilst developing confidence and the ability to work as a team. It also encourages a lifelong enjoyment and understanding of literature and the theatre.

There are regular holiday courses in art, music and drama for 4-16s during school holidays and free taster sessions for under 4s.

Magical Storytelling: Children are taken on an interactive magical journey led by an actor, where they get to role play and listen to stories of far away lands. Choose from mermaids, witches, knights, pirates, and many more! Or Spy and Cheerleader parties for older children.

Drama parties: Children act and star in their own mini play devised by the children at the party and performed to the parents. Children can pick their own theme or pick from popular stories such as: catwalk models, boy/girl bands, fairy tales, Egyptian sagas...

Clowns and Magicians: A mix of comedy, magic, games & competitions, music & dancing and balloon modelling.

Circus skills: Children or adults try out circus activities or sit back and enjoy stilt walkers, jugglers, unicyclists or acrobats!

Face painting, Special Effects Make-up or Pampering sessions: Our artists can transform you into almost anything you can imagine!

Discos: Run by DJs with professional equipment, lights & all the latest pop music.

Parties
Bring oodles of drama and excitement to your child’s party! From age 3 and above Dramatica has a party that you and your child will love and remember for years to come (we even do parties for adults)! All our parties are led by professional, equity registered actors!

Magical Adventure Parties, 3-7
Join us on a Magical Adventure with games, songs, drama and real magic as we write a bespoke party on a theme just for your child! These parties are fully interactive and everyone takes part all of the time.

Performance Parties, 7 +
Here, the children are the stars, acting, singing and dancing their way to stage a performance from a classic show for friends and family! (Children also use real microphones!) Choose your favourite show or musical for us to work on!

Murder Mystery Parties, 9 +
All the fun of fancy dress with the added drama of a murder! Including games, role play and a performance to ensure that each child is truly transported. A full 2 hour entertainment package!

We offer term-time classes in Creative Drama and Messy Art for 16 months to 3 years, Art and Craft for 3 to 7 year olds, Drama for 3 to 5 year olds, After-School Art Classes for 5 to 7 year olds and Saturday art workshops. Popular 3-hour workshops are run in the holidays for 3 to 6 year olds and 3-day workshops for 6-8 year olds. Children are encouraged to use different media and the process is far more important than the result. The child’s own ideas are celebrated and encouraged at all times. Free trials are available.

I have been running fun filled confidence building camps for children aged between 5 to 12 years for over 8 yrs, I have seen many children go from strength to strength along the way. Not all children are born performers, some lack the confidence to’ have a go’ what I set out to do is encourage them to have fun and gain that confidence at the same time.

Held in Wimbledon SW19. With a teacher /child ratio of 1 to 8 the children are well cared for. All teachers are police checked. Each day the children bring a packed lunch.

Step Up group Soul Mates recently won Comic Relief does Glee Club on BBC1 in March. As a result, Step Up will be starting its own Glee Club Choirs in September 2011 in Blackheath. Step Up also appeared in the semi finals of Don’t Stop believing in July 2010. The actress behind Act, Jane Cameron, studied acting at Webber Douglas drama school. All workshops are run by professional actors.
