Tappy Toes is a dance/movement class for boys and girls aged 20 months to 4½ years. Our syllabus is designed specifically for this age group, to encourage creativity, improve coordination, increase confidence and develop rhythm and musicality. We use a fun mix of pop songs, Disney tunes, nursery rhymes and music from their favourite TV shows. We dance with props like pompoms, dance ribbons, bells etc. We sing songs with actions, and tell stories through dance and movement.

The Rhythmix syllabus has been designed to teach the skills of Street dance, Ballet, Cheerleading and Gymnastics whilst developing other vital personal qualities, including building confidence, self-esteem, social interaction and friendship, communication, creativity and expression.

All sessions provide the young people with the opportunity to learn and develop a variety of skills, such as Rhythm development, Co-ordination, Balance, Flexibility, Strength, Agility, Posture and Improved fitness. Rhythmix Coaches have been hand-picked and specially trained to be positive role models and mentors, support and encourage, motivate and inspire, whilst providing a fun, safe atmosphere for your children to learn and thrive in.

Each session will introduce and progress skills, working towards a specific goal, examples of this are certificates, medals/trophies, performance, and competition. Working in this way helps to develop focus, goal setting, determination, commitment and team work, ultimately providing a sense of achievement when the goal is accomplished.

Established for 20 years we teach dance to children aged from three to adults. We encourage each pupil to reach their full potential and pupils have the opportunity to take exams and take part in the school shows. Between 2000-2014 14 students won scholarships to study at Arts Educational London, Bird College, RADA and Mountivew. Past students perform in the West End in Wicked, We Will Rock You, Dirty Dancing, Legally Blonde, Rock of Ages, Mamma Mia, Woman in Black .Chicago. Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. 6 students won places to appear in English Youth Ballet’s production of “Swan Lake” 2013.

    Led by Stuart and Stacey, two professional musicians and fully-qualified experienced teachers, our workshops are guaranteed to leave the kids buzzing. Sessions are two hours long, between 10.30 and 12.30 for 12 weekends every school term.     The Southborough School of Dance, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, is unique in as much as it offers training in the beautiful Russian Style of Ballet.

    All ballet classes are taught by Tamara, the principal, who is passionate about instilling a love for movement and expression in her students. The use of arms and upper body is definitely a part of training which shows the Russian method at its best.     New Youth Theatre in Lincoln is passionate about musicals and the Performing Arts!

    Each class is divided into age groups starting from Tiny Tots at age 3 and up to Seniors age 9 -16. All classes are taught by experienced professional teachers who have real experience in the performing arts.

    At the end of each term, all the children get the chance to perform onstage at a local theatre with the general public, relatives and friends as the audience.

    Established for over 15 years the Spring School of Ballet offers tuition in Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance to children from 2½ years upwards.

    Our team of fully qualified teachers follow the RAD syllabus in over 40 classes. Children are grouped according to age and ability and are encouraged to reach their potential in small, friendly, structured classes where is emphasis is on learning while having fun. Exams can be taken at the end of each year and at the end of each term parents are invited to their child’s class to watch their progress.

    LIPA 4:19 at the Heath is a part time performing arts academy which is part of Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. The academy is based at the Heath School, Runcorn and has been operating in Halton since 2009.

    We currently have students aged from 4 - 19 at the academy, which runs on a Saturday morning during term time, but we have spaces for new recruits.

    Classes are in Singing, Dance and Drama - classes are fun and stimulating and provide challenging, inspiring lessons structured around technique and performance skills. Students also perform in professional theatres, alongside casting opportunities and we enter students for exams in the various art forms.

    All staff at LIPA 4:19 are trained and experienced performers and practitioners – skilled in their various fields of performing arts and working with young people. Termly Fees apply
