Tappy Toes is a dance/movement class for boys and girls aged 20 months to 4½ years. Our syllabus is designed specifically for this age group, to encourage creativity, improve coordination, increase confidence and develop rhythm and musicality. We use a fun mix of pop songs, Disney tunes, nursery rhymes and music from their favourite TV shows. We dance with props like pompoms, dance ribbons, bells etc. We sing songs with actions, and tell stories through dance and movement.

The Rhythmix syllabus has been designed to teach the skills of Street dance, Ballet, Cheerleading and Gymnastics whilst developing other vital personal qualities, including building confidence, self-esteem, social interaction and friendship, communication, creativity and expression.
All sessions provide the young people with the opportunity to learn and develop a variety of skills, such as Rhythm development, Co-ordination, Balance, Flexibility, Strength, Agility, Posture and Improved fitness. Rhythmix Coaches have been hand-picked and specially trained to be positive role models and mentors, support and encourage, motivate and inspire, whilst providing a fun, safe atmosphere for your children to learn and thrive in.

Kettering Academy of dance
We teach Ballet, Tap, Modern, National and Classical Greek to pupils aged 3½ upwards. Pupils take ISTD Imperial Society exams. Shows are held every two years. We have a strong link with the local amateur dramatics society and children can take auditions for local shows. Classes held in a fully equipped studio on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. A coffee area is open during all lessons. We also offer adult tap classes.

We combine a unique mix of music-making, junk and funky rhythm, movement and drama. Household and industrial items become musical instruments in our wonderfully creative 'Sound Sketches', which are exhilarating to both watch and perform.
Led by Stuart and Stacey, two professional musicians and fully-qualified experienced teachers, our workshops are guaranteed to leave the kids buzzing. Sessions are two hours long, between 10.30 and 12.30 for 12 weekends every school term. They'll get to perform some really exciting shows, meet some great new friends and have a huge amount of fun too!
Our Saturday Gloucester venue is at City Works, home of the fantastic Gloucestershire Resource Centre and Scrapstore, where we have use of their beautiful dance studio. We are a family run school and proud to be one of the oldest local dance schools in the area, having been established 36 years ago by my mother Julie.
We specialise in Ballet (RAD syllabus), Tap (ISTD syllabus), Modern/Jazz and Musical Theatre.
We accept children from 2 ½ - 3 years upwards.
We have the following camps taking place this summer:

All of our camps take place in state of the art facilities and give each participant the chance to train in the same facilities as some of the world’s greatest dancers, sportsmen and sportswomen.
Our camps are a great way to meet new friends, build self-confidence, and learn more about your chosen activity in a safe and fun environment. The camps are designed to give our participants a fun and exciting way to gain new skills in their given sport, all while showing them what it takes to be a leading dancer or athlete. Youth Music Theatre UK’s Summer Skills courses are six-day residential courses that offer fantastic opportunities for young people looking to develop their acting, singing and dancing abilities. You’ll gain a Grade 6 Trinity College London qualification in Musical theatre in Production whilst working on a brand new adaptation of a classic text - each Summer Skills course is unique!
YMT is the leading music theatre company for young people aged 11-21 and our main aim is to provide the highest quality training for those wishing to enter the creative industries. On our Summer Skills courses you’ll be working with theatre industry regulars drawn from the National Theatre, RSC, West End theatre, regional repertory and the most respected Fringe. You’ll also receive training from a vocal coach from the Guildford School of Acting.
Summer Skills courses can also form part of a young person’s Duke of Edinburgh Award or Arts Award. YMT has been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, meaning that our work is nationally recognised for its educational and pastoral excellence.

Renton Dance Studio in Farnborough has been established for 25 years offering dance tuition to children aged from toddlers to adults in a dedicated, air conditioned studio.

We consider that we are the only vocational school in the area. Many of our children are selected as Junior, Mid and Senior Associates of The Royal Ballet School. We currently have two students at White Lodge. Most of our seniors audition for dance colleges and have been accepted with full funding at Elmhurst, Birds, Laines, Performers, Central, Rambert etc.
In addition we offer opportunities for children to take part in Festivals, bi-annual school shows, auditions for pantomimes and English Youth Ballet and London Children’s Ballet productions where one of our pupils has the lead in 'The Secret Garden' and 'Jane Eyre'.
Significant numbers of our senior students have been accepted, with full funding, at a variety of dance colleges and many are now appearing in West End shows like 'Mamma Mia' 'Lion King' 'Fame' and 'West Side Story'.
We also offer adult classes in Tap and Modern.

WEEKEND STAGE SCHOOLS: Children aged 4 and 5 years attend a 2-hour session where they discover the delights of the performing arts in an informal, but safe and caring environment. Children aged 6 – 17 years attend a 3-hour session.

Starlight Dance Academy is a well established Dance School offering classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern in the Baldock and Hemel Hempstead areas.
