An independent day and boarding school for girls aged between 2½ - 18 years (boarding from 11 years). The Nursery accepts boys. The School has established a reputation for excellence in music, sport, art and drama. It is a 5-minute walk from the railway, which is on the Brighton to London line as well as many coach and minibuses routes from outlying areas in Sussex.

In November 2008, the newly completed Infant and Nursery building was opened by Curtis Jobling, BAFTA award winner for his animation of Bob the Builder and author of Frankenstein's Cat.

The ethos of the school is to provide a caring environment for the development of the whole child. Burgess Hill School girls have achieved excellent examination results for 2008. Burgess Hill School fees are competitive. Entrance is by examination. Scholarships available for selected year groups.

kidsunlimited look after children aged between 3 months and 5 years. Our nurseries are open all year around between the hours of 7.30am until 6.00pm. We offer an all inclusive care supplying lunch and afternoon tea, milks and nappies and extra curriculum programmes such as sign with your baby, gardening club and cookery. All our food is freshly prepared on site.
