Step Up group Soul Mates recently won Comic Relief does Glee Club on BBC1 in March. As a result, Step Up will be starting its own Glee Club Choirs in September 2011 in Blackheath. Step Up also appeared in the semi finals of Don’t Stop believing in July 2010. Step Up also has lots of students in various West End shows such as The Lion King, Oliver, Les Miserables and The Sound of Music

• Aims to build self confidence, self esteem and improve communication skills
• 15 students per class. (Children divided according to age)
• 2 big shows a year in a professional theatre
• It undertakes Trinity/Guildhall exams every year for both groups and individuals
• Runs its own ‘All stars’ competition with judges from the industry
• Has its own agency that is free to any child in the school
• Step Up currently has branches in Blackheath, Sydenham, Essex and Bromley.
• Offers private tuition in LAMDA, singing, piano and dance
• Holiday courses in the Summer and Easter holidays
