Renton Dance Studio has been established for 25 years offering dance tuition to children aged from toddlers to adults in a dedicated, air conditioned studio.

We consider that we are the only vocational school in the area. Many of our children are selected as Junior, Mid and Senior Associates of The Royal Ballet School. We currently have two students at White Lodge. Most of our seniors audition for dance colleges and have been accepted with full funding at Elmhurst, Birds, Laines, Performers, Central, Rambert etc.
In addition we offer opportunities for children to take part in Festivals, bi-annual school shows, auditions for pantomimes and English Youth Ballet and London Children’s Ballet productions where one of our pupils has the lead in 'The Secret Garden' and 'Jane Eyre'.
Significant numbers of our senior students have been accepted, with full funding, at a variety of dance colleges and many are now appearing in West End shows like 'Mamma Mia' 'Lion King' 'Fame' and 'West Side Story'.

All ballet classes are taught by Tamara, the principal, who is passionate about instilling a love for movement and expression in her students. The use of arms and upper body is definitely a part of training which shows the Russian method at its best. Tamara’s professionalism and creativity is clearly seen in her choreography and in her students’ good working attitude. Her husband, John, is also on hand to teach master-classes to the senior groups and boys classes when the need arises. He has taught at the four major Vocational Dance Schools in London and comes with a wealth of experience.
Girls and boys are accepted from the age of 3. All grades, including Pointe work. ISTD Modern and Tap. Ballet and Adult Tap.
Students participate in Dance Festivals, Fund Raising Concerts, Russian Ballet examinations and our annual School Concert. Pupils can also audition for Vocational Dance Schools, Youth Ballet Companies, Pantomimes and attend Royal Ballet School Outreach programmes.

Our fully qualified and experienced teachers encourage all abilities to reach their full potential in structured lessons with the emphasis on learning through fun in a relaxed environment. Our facilities include four large mirrored dance studios all with fully sprung floors and a dancewear shop.
Every 3 years all students are invited to take part in our end of summer term show. All pupils are also given the opportunity to enter both group and solo performances in the Brighton and Worthing Festivals. School holiday courses are held every half term and summer given children the chance to take part in all aspects of dance, drama and singing, culminating in a performance for family and friends.

Founded in 1988, the Jill Bridger School of Dance offers tuition in classical ballet, modern threatre dance, tap and natural movement for children from the age of two. Jill is registered with and accredited by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Imperial Society (ISTD) and the National Association of Teachers of Dance (NATD).
The school timetable includes ‘Melody Movement©’ classes for children aged 2 to 4. This syllabus is carefully structured to develop creativity, musicality and co-ordination with an emphasis on expression and enjoyment through music and movement.

Established for over 15 years the Spring School of Ballet offers tuition in Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance to children from 2½ years upwards.
Our team of fully qualified teachers follow the RAD syllabus in over 40 classes. Children are grouped according to age and ability and are encouraged to reach their potential in small, friendly, structured classes where is emphasis is on learning while having fun. Exams can be taken at the end of each year and at the end of each term parents are invited to their child’s class to watch their progress.

The Allenova school has been established for over 28 years and in that time it has grown in strength and reputation. The school offers all the usual dance styles of Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical theatre. But also specialises in the more unusual styles of Egyptian Belly Dance, National Folk dance, Greek and many more. We cater for tiny little ones from the age of 2 1/2 who are nurtured through their first steps right through to Adults and Advanced 2 level in ISTD (Imperial Society of teachers of Dancing) & RAD (Royal Academy of Dance).
Our examination results are amazing with very high marks achieved in RAD, NATD and ISTD examinations. Many of our pupils go on to win medals in festivals, Competitions and All England Dance. Allenova pupils are always successful in auditions for various professional pantomimes such as The Reading Hexagon and The Newbury Corn Exchange.
We run classes in the Reading area and local venues in Tilehurst, Caversham and Earley. We have our own studio facility in Newbury Town Centre and the main studios in Thatcham. All our own studios are fully equipped with barres and mirrors.

The Frances Lundy School of Dance has been established since 1984 offering dance classes for both boys and girls in RAD Ballet from two years of age and ISTD Modern and Tap from five years of age.
Pupils are grouped according to age and ability in small friendly classes. We work closely with all our pupils enabling us to spot potential at an early stage. All our teachers are ISTD or RAD registered, our pupils are encouraged to work towards examinations and presentation classes. The school presents a theatre performance every three years in which every child has the opportunity to dance. Pupils who show exceptional ability are encouraged to audition for vocational schools at eleven years of age.
