Starting in 1974, this hugely successful annual event has grown beyond compare into the largest Summer School of its kind in the country.
Whether residential or not, Summer School is perfect for all the family (children from 3 -16 years old), where parents can choose their own courses and entertainment knowing that the children are blissfully happy, but never far away.
Our comprehensive programme for young people continues to prove a winning formula and is once again packed with fun and variety to suit all ages. With four age bands, the structure and content is carefully designed to provide an exciting adventure for each child in a safe environment. Whilst Junior Troopers (3-6yrs) and Children’s Activities (6-9yrs) adopt the multi-activity programme approach with sports, art and crafts, swimming and outdoor adventures, older children can choose a separate morning and afternoon course which they will continue all week. Courses this year include Young Clayshot, Theatre Making, Rock School, Ultimate Frisbee, Squash Academy, Making a Film, Design and Make your own Cyber Pet and the Art of Jewellery Making.
Our Friday exhibition is for all the family and provides a perfect opportunity to view work from many of the courses, whilst enjoying music and entertainment in the wonderful setting of Court in the heart of the College.
Please see our website below for more information and to book, or telephone 01672 892388 for a brochure.
