Jo Farringdon has been organising children’s activity holidays for 9-15 year olds for over 20 years with his team of qualified and dedicated instructors. Our huge variety of outdoor pursuits are aimed at bringing out qualities such as teamwork, confidence, leadership, trust and stamina:

Safety is our priority, and our equipment is modern and well maintained. As well as using the areas natural facilities for our activities the house also has a swimming pool.

The price is £410 per week, which includes accommodation, excursions, food and activities.

Moorland Hall is a family home and children staying enjoy the warm, relaxed and happy atmosphere. Everyone has fun and makes new friends, but above all they come away with a sense of achievement and with skills that they will value for the rest of their lives.

The 5-day course includes the discovery of Devon’s Jurassic coast world heritage site through a variety of unique experiences including a boat trip, fossil hunting on the beach and rock pooling. Children will meet and feed Escot’s otters, play water games, go pond and stream dipping. They will experience the wonders of wildlife by helping to feed Escot’s wild boar, watch and even handle birds of prey, and learn exciting bush craft skills including fire lighting, shelter building and the highlight - a magical wade into the very depths of a murky swamp. Team challenges, art projects, music and games will make up the remainder of the Camp Wild experiences along with estate night hikes, skits and roaring campfires. And of course there are always Escot’s award winning adventure gardens to explore, complete with forest drop slide.
