A-Star Sports is a fun-filled multi-sports experience for children aged 2 - 10 years. Our award-winning programme offers inclusive, developmental coaching.

Building on a fun ABC-based foundation (agility, balance and co-ordination), children are introduced to and develop the skills for ten core sports and more:

basketball / cricket / dodgeball / football / handball
hockey / rounders / rugby / tennis / volleyball

It is our ambition for every A-Star Sports child to enjoy sport in a positive, energy packed environment. This is why we also include further activities inspired by sport in the news for children to discover exciting sports beyond our core ten.

Teddy Tennis is a fantastic way to encourage children aged 3 to 6 years to get active and learn to play tennis. It works by combining music, pictures and teddy bear stories into a learning adventure that children love.

Teddy Tennis music has a great beat and provides the rhythm critical for playing tennis; the words of the songs tell the kids what to do. Head Ted and the Cub Cadets, the Teddy Tennis band, have recorded 30+ songs, all available to download from iTunes.

We have a series of full colour pictures of bears at the Teddy Tennis Academy playing Teddy Tennis; these are shown to the kids so they can see what they are supposed to do for each of the 40+ different Activities and Games.

Teddy Tennis will:

• Develop every child’s athletic capabilities
• Improve their co-ordination
• Grow their confidence
• Enhance their communication skills
• Encourage them to come back for more because it’s so much FUN.

Teddy Tennis is taught as a series of lessons during term time, as ‘camps’ during the school holidays and is also delivered in a Teddy Tennis Party format.

Caversham Lawn Tennis Club was establised 82 years ago and has an extremely strong junior section, taking toddlers as young as 3 years for short tennis. Membership packages to suit all ages and abilities.

Sutton Tennis Academy is located in Rosehill Park, Sutton. It boasts 29 tennis courts, 2 fully equipped gyms, dance studios, gymnastics hall and softplay, physio clinic, a children’s day nursery (from 2 to 5 years) a child friendly café/restaurant with free WIFI and free on-site parking.

It is not just for tennis but provides children (from 1-16 years) with lots of other sports and activities, to fit around school in the term-time and to occupy them during the holidays. A specially designed holiday programme makes life easier for any working parent. It is open to everyone and membership is not required.

The facility offers baby changing and disabled toilet facilities.
