There are plenty of opportunities to see and feed the friendly farm animals as close quarters.
For those tractor mad children we have free tractor and trailer rides daily during the weekends and school holidays.
There is a delightful tea shop on site, which serves hot, and cold snacks and has a good children’s menu.

Home Farm, located in the Estate is home to the largest approved Rare Breeds Centre in the country. The Farm itself is a large working farm yard in which traditional animal rearing techniques are employed and where a fine collection of harvesting machines can be found.
It is home to thousands of seabirds and a flock of wild Soay sheep, originally from the Isle of Soay near Skye. The area is also home to Atlantic grey seals and the only resident population of bottle-nosed Dolphins in England and Wales.

Farmyard: Here you will find various breeds of sheep, cattle, goats, ponies and donkeys in the paddocks. PONY RIDES at weekends and school holidays only. An assortment of animal foods is available from the entrance desk.
Indoor Barn: Our large wooden barn has new born animals. You can touch and see piglets, baby goats, guinea pigs, rabbits and calves, and when in season, mainly spring and early summer, bottle feeding of the lambs is available.

Tractors: There is a safe surface area, fenced off for children to sit on and ride tractors.
