Step Up is a part time stage school for children aged 4-22 yrs and operates every weekend during term time. Nathalie Richardson and her experienced staff are dedicated to providing quality education in the 3 main disciplines of the performing arts: Dance, Drama and Singing. (All teachers have enhanced CRB). Nathalie Richardson is always in attendance in all the schools offering a very personal approach. The schools have not been franchised.

Step Up group Soul Mates recently won Comic Relief does Glee Club on BBC1 in March. As a result, Step Up will be starting its own Glee Club Choirs in September 2011 in Blackheath. Step Up also appeared in the semi finals of Don’t Stop believing in July 2010. Step Up also has lots of students in various West End shows such as The Lion King, Oliver, Les Miserables and The Sound of Music

• It undertakes Trinity/Guildhall exams every year for both groups and individuals
• Runs its own ‘All stars’ competition with judges from the industry

Education in Stage and Theatre Arts (ESTA) the Saturday Drama School that started in Chiswick goes from strength to strength! The school which was started by international casting director and award winning TV producer Esta Charkham is heading into in it’s 12th year and has a sister branch in Croxley Green WD3. Three hours of music, movement, improvisation, drama and sheer fun for young people 7 – 18 every Saturday in term time. Terms start each September, January and April.

ESTA also has an agency and this year alone - members from both schools have appeared on CBBC,on CITV, on ITV, on Nickelodeon, at The National Theatre, at The Royal Court, with The National Youth Theatre and in major motion pictures.

ESTA’s Summer Schools are very popular and children join from all over the world as well as London! Do contact us for dates.

Established since 1994, Top Hat Stage School is a part time performing arts school and agency for children and young adults aged 4 to 17 years of age. Over 500 students attend each week to be taught drama, singing and dance (both Tap & Jazz).
