Nestled in woodland within the amazing Kielder Water & Forest Park in Northumberland, one of the UK’s most beautiful areas, Calvert Trust Kielder has been providing outdoor activities and holidays suitable for adults and children of all abilities, their family and friends for over 26 years. Our fully accessible facilities make us the perfect venue to explore and discover the surrounding area.

Packages available to both adults and children include Self Catering holidays, fully inclusive Activity holidays, holidays and Day packages.

Self Catering holidays include accommodation (sleeping up to 7) in one of our 4-star Scandinavian-style lodges. All lodges are fully equipped with everything you could need from HDTV and DVD player to a cooker and washing machine. Lodges are spacious and accessible for wheelchair users.

Activity holidays include accommodation in our main centre, all meals and a wide range of exciting activities. Activities offered include High Ropes Course, King-swing, Climbing, Canoeing, Sailing, and Laser Clay Shooting.

We also have a sensory room, hydrotherapy pool, games room, and computers. A take-away service for Self Catering guests is available or they can join us for meals in our dining room.

Gosling Sports Park offers a comprehensive range of facilities and coaching to a very high standard. Sports available include Tennis, Skiing, Gymnastics, Fitness, Golf, Bowling, Athletics, Football, Squash and Badminton. The Sports Park is open seven days a week.

Tennis Centre facilities include both outdoor and indoor courts offering a weekly programme of coaching and matchplay events for both adult and junior players by fully qualified LTA coaches.

Gosling Ski & Board Centre offers an extensive range of Ski and Snowboard courses for all age groups and abilities.

Gosling Sports Park offers a full range of coached sporting activities for children. Courses in Tennis, Football, Gymnastics & Trampolining run throughout the school terms. Camp Gosling runs during school holidays offering full day activities. Children’s birthday parties also catered for.

Bungo’s Play Barn in Bidford-on-Avon is a massive themed play barn. From the Deadly Drop Slide and Chill out zone with internet and plasma screen TV for older children to the under 5’s soft play area with a farmer Bungo’s tractor track there is something for the whole family. The Play Barn is decorated with fun farmyard characters ' JBC the tractor, Bitz and Honey the dogs and Jaffacat the cat ... come and see if you can spot them and many others!

Eat at the Stable café which offers you the best possible food for the occasion with, as much as possible sourced locally ... meat from the local butcher, vegetables bought in the Vale of Evesham and home made cakes from a cottage industry in Alcester. The standard nuggets and chips is supplemented by healthy pasta bakes and specials and the frozen slush drinks are countered by real juice slushes so you have the choice of with or without e's!
