Mazzard Farm's six contemporary and luxury cottages (sleeping 2-24) are converted from former apple stores and have been transformed with much emphasis on style and comfort. Their gorgeous setting amongst 17-acres of wildlife-filled woodland, gardens and orchards makes the perfect holiday destination for young families. With water coming from the farm's own bore hole, luxurious oak floors, heated by a sophisticated wood chip burner, and with gorgeous 100% natural toiletries provided to all guests, it should not come as a surprise that Mazzard Farm was recently awarded the prestigious Gold Award from the Green Business Tourism Scheme.
The traffic-free courtyard, play areas, outside dining areas, BBQs and a store-filled with ride-on toys, ensure the kids will have a great time. Yet there are also plenty of quiet corners with informal seating and lounging areas within the grounds. Bikes with child seats or tag-alongs are available for hire and lots of lovely walks can be done in and around the grounds (including its own woodland). A large selection of good quality toys, games, books and DVDs is available on loan, free of charge. Fresh produce and locally produced ready meals are available on-site, and a private chef can be arranged. Pamper sessions (such as Japanese Facials or Indian Head Massage) can be arranged for.
